About the programme

TÜBİTAK 2204-A is the national research and project programme for high school students run by TÜBİTAK, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye. Alongside the scientific research fields, the programme includes a technology and design track, where the emphasis falls on the design of a working idea: the problem it addresses, the reasoning behind the chosen form, and how the design would be built and used.

Submissions are reviewed by TÜBİTAK evaluators, and a subset is selected for exhibition. Selection is the outcome recorded here — the project passed evaluation and was included among the exhibited projects rather than placing in a ranked order.

The result

This entry records a project selected for the technology and design exhibition in 2025.

What the track asks for

The technology and design track rewards a different discipline from a laboratory study. The submission has to state a real problem, argue why the proposed design is an appropriate answer to it, and show the design in enough detail that someone else could judge whether it would work. Constraints — cost, materials, who uses it and under what conditions — are part of the argument rather than footnotes to it.

The related project entry covers the design itself.
